File format error
You can only upload the following file types:
- .pdf (also known as Adobe Acrobat) – used for scanned documents or forms.
- .jpeg, .jpg or .png – used for pictures or images.
To identify your document file type:

- Microsoft Window users
- Right click on your file and select ‘Properties’ – this will display ‘Type of File’ and ‘Size’.

- Apple Mac users
- Hold down the control button, click on the file and select ‘Get Info’.
To fix this issue:

- Microsoft Windows users
- Open your document, select ‘File’, then ‘Save As’ or ‘Save a Copy’ and select the file type that is listed (e.g. pdf, jpeg, jpg). If you cannot change the file type, simply copy and paste the information into a Word document and save as a PDF.

- Apple Mac users:
- Select ‘File’, then ‘Save As’ and in the File Format field select ‘PDF’.

To reduce your document file size:
PDF format
You can use a free online tool to reduce your PDF file size. ·

- Follow the instructions to compress your PDF file and save to your computer.
JPG or JPEG format
Scan your document at a lower resolution, such as 96 DPI.
Or you can use your mobile phone to take a photo of your document, then crop out any empty space around the image.
Save your document to your files or email a copy to yourself, selecting the smallest size when prompted.
PNG format
Scan your document at a lower resolution, such as 96 DPI.
Or you can save the file as a JPG or JPEG which will automatically reduce the file size.

Correct file name
Please check that you are not trying to load the same file or a file with the same name as another uploaded file.
To fix this issue:
Rename the file and try uploading again.
Click once on the name of your file, and you will be able to change the file name.
